Chimera is born from the myth of a creature that was never meant to make sense. A mix of parts, identities, energies, too strange, too bold, too impossible to classify. As an online multilingual bookstore, Chimera is built for readers who live between cultures, languages and versions of themselves. We believe books shouldn’t be dictated by hype or algorithms. So, we curate small, intentional selections chosen for readers, not for publishing schedules. Like Chimera itself, the collection is built from elements that shouldn’t “fit” yet create something more vivid when they come together.

Chimera envisions a world where identity isn’t a fixed box but an evolving landscape. A world where books, ideas, and voices are allowed to exist in all their contradictions: loud, tender, angry, fluid, unfiltered. Our vision is to create a space where the radical becomes accessible, where feminist and non-binary perspectives aren’t “alternative” but central. A space that doesn’t sanitize thought, doesn’t dilute difference, doesn’t apologize for intensity. We aim to nurture a community that embraces the hybrid, the in-between, the shapeshifters, the readers who question, disrupt, rebuild, and imagine.
